Why would you? However, when it comes to content marketing, you might feel that you should know every corner and excel on every platform, just because it exists in the inbound marketing world.

Let’s face it, no one is good at everything. More often than not, though, we can hold our own when it comes to doing something we love. What about you? What type of content do you love to create?

If you love creating videos, then kudos to you! Go forth and create films. Your expertise and earnestness will no doubt shine through in the content you create.

Keep in mind that there may be some content that is necessary to have, whether you like it or not. For instance, it’s nearly impossible to ignore blogging as a crucial content piece. If writing isn’t your forte, consider outsourcing it to someone who has mad writing skills.

The point is, whether you’re writing a blog post, sending out emails, or posting to social media, you should be thinking about your audience and what they want to see.

The sad part is that it’s easy to get too busy to check in with what actually works and what doesn’t. This is where your analytics come into play.

Establish your analytics and regularly examine them to see which types of content are receiving the most engagement. Then you can pull the trigger on which needs improvement and which needs the boot. If you’re giving Facebook all you’ve got and you’re still not receiving results, then it’s time to reexamine your strategy.
