Let’s Put Our Cities on The Map!

Over the years, Google has continuously stressed the importance of having your local business listed correctly online. To help business mappedowners, Google has provided different programs such as Places for Business, Local, or currently Google My Business to help make this process painless and easy. Although these programs have been provided, many still have yet to claim or optimize their businesses listing.

In most cases we find that businesses either don’t know how to or don’t realize they can update their information. Some businesses also don’t see the necessity in updating their information, feeling that people will find them just fine. However, businesses that have complete business information online are twice as likely to be considered reputable by consumers.1978659_959554907399379_1068956120042803023_n
But how do you know if your business is listed correctly? More important, how can you fix it if it’s not? Seapoint Digital is proud to be an official partner for Let’s Put Our Cities On The Map!
Through this program, Google will take you step-by-step through creating or claiming, optimizing, and managing your free Google My Business listing in order to get our cities on the map. The official website  provides useful tips to help you see what looks great with your business listing and what could use a little work. Through this program you can also join local communities, view helpful videos, or even design a free website if you don’t already have one!
During the upcoming months, Seapoint Digital will be hosting workshops in order to help local businesses learn how to use these tools in order to get their business noticed. Dates and times for these workshops will soon be available.
People are searching online for businesses like yours everyday, and we want to help every business in our community to get found on the web. So stay tuned to find out more about our upcoming workshops!
