Over the years, Google has continuously stressed the importance of having your local business listed correctly online. To help business mappedowners, Google has provided different programs such as Places for Business, Local, or currently Google My Business to help make this process painless and easy. Although these programs have been provided, many still have yet to claim or optimize their businesses listing.

Through this program, Google will take you step-by-step through creating or claiming, optimizing, and managing your free Google My Business listing in order to get our cities on the map. The official website  provides useful tips to help you see what looks great with your business listing and what could use a little work. Through this program you can also join local communities, view helpful videos, or even design a free website if you don’t already have one!
